Accidental Damage Coverage Policy

Due to the investment cost of purchasing a laptop computer, more and more schools and businesses are recognizing the need to provide protection coverage that goes beyond the standard warranty service. LAM Systems understands this need and is pleased to offer accidental damage coverage as an additional service.

However, LAM is most concerned with serving you in the best way possible. Because it is more important to make recommendations that are in your best interest and the most cost effective, we would suggest that you fully examine every option available. Most businesses and schools purchase coverage for their electronic data processing equipment using property coverage under the inland marine form. The coverage is very broad and covers all physical damage to the property except normal exclusions for wear and tear, nuclear, intentional mistreatment of the property, etc… This coverage along with the service warranty should be enough to protect the unit from virtually any mishap.

If, upon further review, you discover that you do not have this type of coverage, LAM would be pleased to refer you to an insurance company to provide this service. LAM Systems, Inc. offers accidental damage insurance and would be happy to do so at your request. Our desire however is to do what is best for you and to provide service in the most cost effective and reasonable manner.
